NEWS AND EVENTS
Monthly guided walks, led by Maine Master Naturalist Gordon Collins (President of Friends of Hope Cemetery & Woods), are offered May through November. See the schedule below. Registration is required for this free program. Email friendsofhcw@gmail.com or call 207-387-9100.
Our Nordic Walking Group, hosted in collaboration with Kennebunkport Parks and Recreation, is a way to enjoy the Accessible Trail in Hope Woods using specialized poles. Nordic Walking provides an overall body workout, and for those who need a little extra stability and support the poles provide the ability to walk the trail with confidence. This free program will meet weekly on Mondays at 9:30 AM in the parking lot at the trailhead on Hope Woods Lane May through November. See the schedule below.
Additional activities and events planned by other organizations are hosted at Hope Cemetery and in Hope Woods. Organizations wishing to plan a walk or activity in Hope Woods, should contact us at 207-387-9100 or friendsofhcw@gmail.com. Please let us know if you need any additional support to successfully and safely enjoy our activities and events.
